Children are the future of a country; protect them, protect the nation

  “THERE IS NO REASON, NO EXCUSE CHILD LABOUR IS CHILD ABUSE” 152 million children are a worldwide victim of child labour; 88 million boys and 64 million girls. In India itself, 12.9 a million children are involved in child labour activities among which 72% are engaged in agricultural fields as child labourers and 20% children aged between 15-17 years old are involved in hazardous industrial Jobs. Uttar Pradesh accounts for the biggest hub of child labours. Some of the central and state government schemes for eradicating child labour and uplifting the condition of children involved in this trap from a long time ago are: A)Factories Act of 1948: The act prohibits the employment of children below the age of 14 years in any factory. The law also played rules on who, when and how long can a pre-adults aged 15-18 years be employed in any factory.
